Larry Stowe is a childhood cancer survivor, world renowned production engineer, biomolecular engineer whose discoveries were a threat to the pharmaceutical industry. They tried to destroy his life, but he's still fighting to bring life-changing treatments to the world.

Larry was born in the American midwest in 1953. At age 6 he was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, bone cancer. Doctors said it would be a miracle if he reached his 10th birthday. Today he is the oldest living survivor at the age of 73.
His right leg was an inch and a half shorter than his left leg, largely due to the radiation treatment as a child. He didn't let that stop him. "People get too hung up on the past and think it defines them and can deny them their present and future." He got a full scholarship to Iowa State and after getting his PhD as an engineer.
He had a celebrated career as a Senior Research Engineer in the Oil and Natural Gas industry.
Larry is an engineer at heart. While his passion was understanding the human immune system, he was good at putting together solutions to engineering problems and found himself working in the oil industry. He established himself as a world-class engineer in the field. His career spanned the world, including offshore production platforms and rainforest drill sites.
Putting people over profits
Even with his career as a Senior Engineer for Mobil Oil and Gas, his passion was for helping people and curing diseases. His biomedical education and history fighting cancer as a child led him to become a consultant to an organization called True Health where he submitted white papers about novel biological and immune system approaches to the treatment of cancer and viral infections, among other medical topics.
Larry's entire life's worth of biomedical claims was put to the test when his mother, Edith Stowe, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in December 1999 at the age of 80. She was given a 2 month terminal prognosis. He used the treatments he developed, inspired by what his mother did for him as a child. Working with her doctors through an integrated radiation therapy, comprehensive immune therapy and an autologous cancer vaccine from Germany, her cancer went into remission after a few months. She died of natural causes almost 3 years after her terminal prognosis, completely cancer free.

Search for the name Larry Stowe and you'll find references to a 60 minutes hit piece and a criminal trial. For most Americans back in 2010 it was hard to believe that Big Pharma would work with a media company to do a hit piece and get someone thrown in prison just to protect their profits. Fortunately, the American people are much more awake and aware today. Larry is currently fighting to overturn his wrongful conviction so he can get back to sharing his discoveries with the rest of the world.
